Cellist Jungin Huh was selected as a Rising Star of 2021 LOTTE Foundation for Arts to perform in the Lotte Concert Hall. Jungin Huh released Bach’s solo suite for cello with ballet, the project and her first solo album in 2021 as well as her second solo album by Sony Classical. Recently she rcorded the complete works of Beethoven on SONY Classical.
Cellist Jungin Huh has a deep understanding of music and constantly pursues to research. She graduated Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and College of Music Seoul National University with honors in practicals and received scholarship for excellence. She then graduated with top honors from the Master’s Program of HMT-Leipzig with Prof. Peter Bruns and as granted scholarship at CNSMD-Lyon. In which she studied alongside Prof. Anne Gastinel.
She performed for many years as a guest member of Frankfurt Oper, MDR Orchestra-Leipzig and Staatskapelle Halle in Germany. In addition, she participated in the album of Max Reger 100th Year Memorial, and the rich experience in Europe influenced her greatly to be a competent soloist and an orchestra and chamber musician.
Furthermore, Jungin Huh successfully completed the Loh-Orchestra Sonderhausen and Schumaan Cello Concerto and the Beethoven Triple Concerto with Würzburg State Music Orchestra in Europe. After performing recitals in Salzburg Wiener Hall and Schumann-Haus in Leipzig,
She performed a premiere of Stravinsky’s Italian Suite with Gunpo Prime Orchestra in Korea at the 2019 DMZ Yeoncheon International Music Festival. Moreover, she performed recitals in uJung Rising Star Recital, Klavier Hall Rising Star Recital, Youngsan Grace Hall Young Artist Recital, Ewon Cultural Center Rising Star Recital and was able to proudly exhibit her talents as a soloist as she was selected for Camerata MADRI collaboration, Seoul Academy Ensemble collaboration, The Sofia Soloists Chamber Orchestra collaboration, Young Musicians Festival, The STRAD Competition Winner Concert, Seoul National University Tuesday Concerts and 2019 Seoul Arts Center return recital.
She is also a member of SOMNIUM Trio and is a music director of Seoul Soloists Chamber Orchestra. She teaches at the Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul, Korea

La violoncelliste Jungin Huh se distingue par la clarté architecturale de son interprétation et par une approche profondément réfléchie du répertoire, construisant progressivement une identité artistique singulière à travers des projets soigneusement conçus.
En 2024, elle a enregistré l’intégrale des Sonates et Variations pour violoncelle de Beethoven chez Sony Classical, accompagnée d’une série de concerts consacrés à ce cycle. Ce projet proposait une vision cohérente de l’écriture beethovénienne pour violoncelle, mettant en lumière la transparence structurelle et la retenue expressive.
Après le succès de son premier album solo en 2021, elle a publié Schubert & Brahms, également chez Sony Classical, consacré au romantisme allemand. Elle a également participé à l’enregistrement commémoratif du 100e anniversaire de Max Reger. Son projet interdisciplinaire Bach à la Danse, associant les Suites pour violoncelle de Bach à la danse, témoigne de son intérêt pour le dialogue entre tradition et sensibilité contemporaine.
En Europe, elle s’est produite dans le Concerto pour violoncelle de Schumann avec le Loh-Orchester Sondershausen ainsi que dans le Triple Concerto de Beethoven avec l’Orchestre de l’Université de musique de Würzburg. Elle a donné des récitals à Salzbourg et au Schumann-Haus de Leipzig. En Corée, elle a présenté la première en Corée de la Suite italienne de Stravinsky au DMZ Incheon International Music Festival.
Diplômée avec les plus hautes distinctions de l’Université nationale de Séoul, elle a poursuivi ses études à la Hochschule für Musik de Leipzig et à la Hochschule für Musik de Würzburg (Meisterklasse), avant de se perfectionner auprès d’Anne Gastinel au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon.
Elle est actuellement animatrice de l’émission de musique classique ODE Classic 101 sur ORFEO TV, directrice artistique du Seoul Soloists Chamber Orchestra, membre du Sonorium Trio et professeure à Sookmyung Women’s University.

Die Cellistin Jungin Huh verbindet interpretatorische Klarheit mit einem strukturell durchdachten Zugang zum Repertoire. In sorgfältig konzipierten Projekten entwickelt sie eine eigenständige künstlerische Handschrift.
2024 erschien bei Sony Classical ihre Gesamteinspielung der Beethoven-Sonaten und Variationen für Violoncello und Klavier, begleitet von einer zyklischen Konzertreihe. Die Aufnahme zeichnet sich durch Transparenz der Form und eine differenzierte, zurückhaltende Ausdrucksweise aus.
Nach ihrem Debütalbum im Jahr 2021 veröffentlichte sie die Einspielung Schubert & Brahms, ebenfalls bei Sony Classical, mit Schwerpunkt auf dem deutsch-romantischen Repertoire. Zudem wirkte sie an einer Gedenkeinspielung zum 100. Todestag von Max Reger mit. Ihr interdisziplinäres Projekt Bach à la Danse, das Bachs Cellosuiten mit Ballett verbindet, steht für ihren Dialog zwischen Tradition und Gegenwart.
In Europa interpretierte sie Schumanns Cellokonzert mit dem Loh-Orchester Sondershausen sowie Beethovens Tripelkonzert mit dem Orchester der Hochschule für Musik Würzburg. Recitals führten sie unter anderem nach Salzburg und in das Schumann-Haus Leipzig. In Korea präsentierte sie die koreanische Erstaufführung von Strawinskys Suite Italienne beim DMZ Incheon International Music Festival.
Ihr Studium schloss sie an der Seoul National University mit Auszeichnung ab und setzte es an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig sowie in der Meisterklasse an der Hochschule für Musik Würzburg fort. Weitere künstlerische Impulse erhielt sie bei Anne Gastinel am Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon.
Derzeit ist sie Moderatorin der Klassiksendung ODE Classic 101 bei ORFEO TV, Künstlerische Leiterin des Seoul Soloists Chamber Orchestra, Mitglied des Sonorium Trio sowie Lehrbeauftragte an der Sookmyung Women’s University.

작품에 대한 깊이 있는 해석과 끝없는 음악적 탐구로 매년 새로운 레퍼토리를 선사하고 있는 첼리스트 허정인은 2021년 롯데문화재단 신진 아티스트에 선정되어 롯데콘서트홀에서 연주한 바 있으며 예원학교, 서울예술고등학교, 서울대학교 음악대학 실기 수석 졸업과 성적 우수 장학금을 수혜 받았으며 그 후 도독하여 페터 브룬스와 라이프치히 국립음대 석사과정과 뷔츠부르크 국립음대 최고연주자과정을 최우등으로 졸업하였고 장학생으로 선발되어 프랑스 리옹 국립고등음악원에서안느 가스티넬과 수학하였다.
허정인은 발레와 함께한 바흐의 무반주 모음곡 프로젝트, 2021년 그녀의 첫 솔로 음반 <오마주 투 피아티고르스키 Hommage to Piatigorsky>를 발매하였으며 또한 SONY Classical에서 두 번째 솔로 음반 〈Schubert & Brahms>를 선보였다. 2023년 베토벤 첼로 소나타 전곡과 바레이션 전곡 을 SONY Classical에서 발매 하였다. 막스 레거 서거 100주년 기념 음반에도 참여하며 유럽에서의 풍부한 경험은 솔리스트뿐만이 아닌 오케스트라와 실내악 연주자로서의 역량을 갖추는데 큰영향을 미쳤다.
이에 그치지 않고 허정인은 유럽에서 Loh 오케스트라 존더스하우젠과 슈만 첼로 협주곡, 뷔츠부르크 국립음대 오케스트라와 베토벤 트리플 협주곡을 성황리에 마쳤으며 잘츠부르크 뷔너홀과 라이프치히 슈만 하우스에서 독주회를 진행한 데 이어 2019 DMZ 연천국제음악제에서 군포 프라임 오케스트라와 스트라빈스키 이탈리아 모음곡 협연을 한국 초연한 바 있다.
또한 유중 라이징 스타 독주회, 클라비어홀 신예독주회, 영산 그레이스홀 영아티스트 독주회, 이원 문화센터 꿈나무 콘서트를 통해 독주회를 가졌으며 마드리 실내악단 협연, 서울 아카데미 앙상블 협연, 소피아 솔리스트 체임버 오케스트라 협연, 젊은이의 음악제, 스트라드 콩쿠르 입상자 연주회, 서울대학교 화요 음악회, 예술의전당 독주회, 2022년 ‘KT와 함께하는 예술의전당 마음을 담은 클래식’ KT심포니오케스트라, 강남심포니오케스트라, 대구시립교향악단 정기연주회에서 협연 하였으며 다양한 연주회를 통해 솔리스트로서의 자질을 유감없이 발휘하였다.
현재 허정인은 서울 솔로이스츠 챔버 오케스트라의 음악감독과 솜니움 트리오 멤버로 꾸준한 연주활동을 이어나가고 있는 한편, 숙명여자대학교에 출강하여 후학양성에도 힘쓰고 있다.
